SINGER Oneil Edwards of the dancehall trio Voicemail, is still in critical condition at the Kingston Public Hospital, after being shot in the head by unknown attackers in the early hours of yesterday morning.

According to reports, one of the bullets which struck the 36-year-old Edwards in the head had fragmented and was causing swelling in the brain. A critical CT Scan to determine the full extent of his injuries was said to have been conducted yesterday, however, there was no word on whether Edwards would undergo surgery to remove these bullet fragments.

Police reports indicate that Edwards was shot and critically injured by unknown assailant/s at his home at Belloc Avenue in the Duhaney Park area of Kingston 20.

Information from the Duhaney Park Police is that at about 1:30 am, Edwards drove up at his gate and was pounced on by attackers who shot him several times. The explosions alerted residents, who called the police and on their arrival Edwards was found at the rear of the premises. 

And passed away May 26th , 2010 may god rest his soul.
