We now know the name of the newest addition to the Beckham brood - it's Harper Seven!

Only hours after wife Victoria gave birth Sunday morning in Los Angeles to the couple's first girl, hubby David went on Facebook to announce his daughter's name.


"I am so proud and excited to announce the birth of our daughter Harper Seven Beckham. She weighed a healthy 7lbs 10oz and arrived at 7:55 this morning, here in LA. Victoria is doing really well and her brothers are delighted to have a baby sister xx."

While we don't know why the couple choose Harper for her first name, we do know that her middle name, Seven, is inspired by David's old soccer jersey number when he played for Manchester United and England.

This is the fourth child for the soccer superstar, 36, and wife Victoria, 37, who've been married for 12 years.

The couple also has sons Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 6.

Friends of the Beckhams tweeted their congratulations to the superstar couple.
