Normally I pay no attention to persons to whom make comments about what idiots have done or said to wit this little boy rapper and to discredit our sister service, but ambitiousballa I have no choice-first no need to put any branch of military down-especially since the Army has been out there fighting and serving their country the same way as we have been as Marines and as a retired Marine whom served with the Army they have shed the same blood and proven themselves under fire. So as much as I am still a Marine We have our Traditions as they do But it's all interservice rivalry and you have not been around long enough to think you're better, really not the case here. Combat Engineers Are more respectful and should remember that and act accordingly.

I too, have worked with the Army countless times and always accomplished more faster, and with less. I despise their lackadaisical attitude. And I don't blame the personnel. I blame the recruiting methods. Damn near every person they enlist gets some type of bonus. So you get a bunch of individuals together who's only concern is how much money they're making. They have no honor. No commitment.

When it was time to swap and return the favor, YOUR fellow soldiers all got in their trucks and went to sleep and didn't bother posting security for us. Different units on multiple occasions. So obviously, its a common issue for ya'll.

Thats why Marines can talk down to every branch, but the ONLY thing you'll EVER hear from someone of another branch say about Marines is "they're crazy!" I only take issue with your statement that the Marines can talk down to every branch. They can't and shouldn't. We all need each other in one way or another to get the job done, and with the way things are now, fighters from all branches are side by side now and bullets and IED don't give a damm who claims they can do it better because all of our asses will get blown to high heaven when the shit hits the fan. So as for who's the best, hell yeah Marines get the job done, but not without some help.

As a veteran of the Army, I will have to say that Military people are strong period! The only people who talk about which branch is weaker never served a day in the US Armed Forces.

A lot of people have that misconception about the military. We're not "owned". Its a 100% volunteer-based occupation. Some of us are "crazy" and this is the perfect outlet for us. I mean, who else is gonna pay you to kill and blow up stuff? I get a hard-on every time I place a block of C4 on something! lol. I can get out if I want to. But I choose not to. I DID get out once before and I HATED being a civilian. Too routine for me. Sp I went back in because I like the sporadic nature of what we do. Its actually pretty enjoyable. 30 days paid vacation, housing and food paid for, and I make a pretty decent amount of bread every two weeks. I LOVE it.

The sentence "who else is gonna pay you to kill and blow up stuff" is very, very sick. When you retire and don´t know what to do, how about go and visit some of the soldiers, who lost body parts, while you enjoyed it to kill and blow up stuff.
