Cause of Death Whitney Houston

Bobby Kristina Denied Access To See Her Mother, + Whitney Was Taking Xanax!

Yesterday R&B Icon Whitney Houston was found dead in her hotel room at The Beverly Hilton, just hours before a pre-Grammy celebration being hosted by her mentor Clive Davis. The festivities were understandably somber as guests walked down the red carpet offering condolences. Houston’s body was still on the fourth floor of the hotel awaiting paramedics.

But according to TMZ, Whitney’s daughter Bobby Kristina was denied access to the hotel room to see her mother.
Law enforcement sources: Bobbi Kristina showed up on the 4th floor of the Beverly Hilton several hours after Whitney’s death. We’re told when officers informed her no one was allowed to see the body — BK screamed, cursed and demanded to see her mother.
Ultimately, she was not allowed into the room and left. We’re told Whitney’s cousin Dionne Warwick also showed up later. She too was turned away by officers.
TMZ also reported that Houston was taking Xanax ... evidence she may have fallen asleep in the bathtub where she died. Family members of Whitney were saying that the singer had a prescription for the drug, which is commonly used to treat anxiety and depression. The Night before she had been drinking a lot and Xanax mixed with alcohol can cause severe sedation, which could cause someone to fall asleep in a bathtub.

Whitney was found in the bathtub and removed before EMTs arrived.

  1. I wanted to say this: Whitney, you were "Waiting to Exhale" and trying to figure out "Why Does It Hurt So Bad". In spite of it all, you really wanted that "One Moment in Time" where somebody could say "Count on Me" and really mean it. So...in your process of "Getting to Happy", you turned to God and said "I Look to You" and He replied "I Will Always Love You". Now, you are experiencing "The Greatest Love of All". You can finally close your eyes and exhale
