Private Funeral Held for "Soul Train Icon" Don Cornelius + A Second Service!

“The Rev. Jackson and my father were very, very close friends and I wouldn’t have it any other way,” said Tony Cornelius, Don's son.
The ceremony was held at the Rosemary Chapel, located on the grounds of Forest Lawn in Glendale, California. Another memorial service is scheduled for February 16 at Forest Lawn. Although the second service will also be private, Tony Cornelius says he plans to provide a feed of the event for fans to share the moment and pay their respects.
Cornelius, 75, was found in his home on February 1 in Los Angeles, dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Where cops ruled his death as suicide.
