Whitney Houston Funeral Plans On The Way As Her Body Transported to New Jersey!
February 13, 2012GossipweloveFuneral plans are already under way for the legendary Grammy winner, and a service is expected to take place later this week in Newark, N.J.
Houston's body was transferred from the Los Angeles County morgue into the care of Houston's family and transported to the Van Nuys airfield, where it departed on a private XO Jet bound for New Jersey.
Though early speculation centered around Houston's funeral taking place in the Atlanta-area church at which Whitney was active over the years, E! News has learned that the 48-year-old's remains are headed to the Whigham Funeral Home in New Jersey.

The location is hardly surprising as Houston was born in Newark and got her start singing in the city's New Hope Baptist Church, where her mother, Cissy Houston, served as musical director and cousin Dionne Warwick also sang.
So far, the family hasn't commented on any funeral plans, though this morning the Los Angeles County Coroner said that arrangements were being made to hand over the body so that a memorial could take place.
Meanwhile, new speculation is now centering on the possibility of holding a wake Thursday, before the private family service, at the 18,000-seater Newark Prudential Center.

I look foward to hearing Reverand Al Sharpton and Reverand Jessie Jackson give speeches at the memorial. They always lift my spirits:)
ReplyDeleteReverand Al Sharpton and Reverand Jessie Jackson? How awful!
ReplyDeleteWhy is everyone claiming to be surpised she is dead or that she died in this way? Even a blind person could have predicted this more than 10 years ago!! Crack may be wack but too many prescription pills, coke and booze will have you swiming around the bowl eventually
