The Conservative journalist Andrew Breitbart has died unexpectedly early Thursday (this morning), Joel Pollak confirms to POLITICO. The right wing agitator, media mogul, and Tea Party activist, is possibly dead. His main website, Big Journalism, at 5:58 this morning (8:58 ET?) posted a story titled, “In Memoriam: Andrew Breitbart (1969-2012).” The story reads:
With a terrible feeling of pain and loss we announce the passing of Andrew Breitbart.Andrew passed away unexpectedly from natural causes shortly after midnight this morning in Los Angeles.We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior.Andrew lived boldly, so that we more timid souls would dare to live freely and fully, and fight for the fragile liberty he showed us how to love.
The conclusion to his new book is printed as well. Many are questioning the validity of the story, including that his last tweet was at 2:25 AM but the story says he died “shortly after midnight.” Given Breitbart’s history in life, his possible death is also questionable.
