If you haven't heard the rumor, then listen up. Rapper Wale asked a female twitter fan via Direct Message if he could eat her "BIRTHDAYBOOTY," which requires no oven or ingredients, its the one that's already ready-made. Rest assured that it was the work of a Twitter impersonator and photoshopped tweets. Now, Wale has lashed out and put his impersonator on blast. See what he had to say below....
Wale got really upset over the recent fake Twitter exchange between him and a female fan which went viral. During the exchange, the "Wale" account asked the fan if he could eat her "lotus flower bomb." "He" then goes onto explain that LFB is booty. Which is also a song that features him and migual
This got Wale really upset so he posted a number of screenshots and exchanges to explain he was being impersonated by a fake twitter account and that he never made those comments. And showed how the twitter liar admitted to photo shopping the tweets to make it seem like Wale sent them. He said, "Sad thing is people do shit like this and niggas believe it."
But some fans took issue with Wale's approach to blasting the impersonator and this got Wale even more angry.
He tweeted,
Two wrongs don't make a right but.. I'm not here to be righteous .. I'm fortunate enuff to have a team of niggas for shit like this
And for those who think his behavior was childish, he added,
We all petty .. And im immature too RT @prissperry: the fact that @wale admitted he's petty...pretty much makes him a winner in my book.

ReplyDeleteI will say, I DO think it was petty & immature. He should not need to stoop to anyone's classless level. But, at least he was honest & admitted he was petty & immature. lol If nothing else, his honesty gets my respect. Also, people didn't want him going in on or exposing a 17 year old girl, but I feel like this, no matter age or gender, if someone can be bold enough to slander him or try to play him publicly, be prepared to get it back, and homegirl deserved it. She claimed to have done it for the attention she would gain, but either way, it made her look dumb. It was bad on his part that he had to take it to this, but I still think she deserved it. I like Wale & his music a lot, but I wish he would ignore haters & people trying to get a rise out of him. Stop addressing them, because that is what they want. Never give the ignorant a stage to act a fool on.

The issue is, it was being made to appear like he tried to ask for sex via a private message, from a "fan"/girl; which did not actually occur. I say, hey, if someone's tryna make it seem like something happened between you & them that did not happen, gon' 'head & treat they ass! lol And that's exactly what he did by exposing this chick for the lame, bored, lack-of-a-life loser she is.
ReplyDeletePeople expect these celebs to be superhuman but they're people too with emotions, egos, feelings, pride and all that. How is he wrong for blasting someone who's defaming his character to the point where it's actually believable? Whether you agree with how he did it or not, anyone who cares about their reputation would be upset about something like this & do what they had to do to set the record straight & even expose the phony!

ReplyDeleteThis just goes to show that 90% of twitter users don't have lives. From the teams to the I got such and such amount of followers to photoshopping fake conversations. If twitter shut down tomorrow the suicide rate would increase. He had every right to defend himself. If someone spread a lie I would clear it up too. Especially since people are gullible and quick to believe every thing they hear and see.
