She tweeted:
And had to raise [insert dollar] for her MEDS—>> RT@sponfulofsass Oh no Yvette Wilson passed away from cancer tonight. God Bless her.

Whats sad is that when Yvette was bringing home the bacon, the gov’t was probably taking millions. On her death bed tho, #Nowheretobefound.
RT @Nickk_maraj The fact that money had to be raised for her medical expenses when she obviously couldn’t prevent this
That should be a God given right! Even with Obama Care, too much involved. Just give FREE health care to all. @barackobama What can we do?
@BarackObama I wouldn’t mind the millions they took if it was going to healthcare. Why should a poor person struggle to pay for MEDS sir
Earlier this year, Obama did sign a Health Care reform, most of which won’t take effect until 2014. Under this bill, insurance companies won’t be able to deny coverage to anyone with a preexisting condition and most Americans will be required to purchase health coverage that covers essential health benefits. Those who have trouble paying for insurance may receive financial help to offset the cost. Also, those that have a preexisting condition will see an increase in coverage. At the moment your eligibility for Medicaid is different depending on what state you live in, however, by 2014 more people will be eligible to enroll.
But we still have a long way to go…
The problem is, we don’t exactly know what Yvette’s situation was. She may have had insurance but all of the monies could have been spent on her prior treatments over the years. (under the new bill, insurance companies can’t place a dollar limit on the amount of health coverage paid in ones’ lifetime) Also, according to Give Forward, the money raised was also going towards her travel expenses so that she could afford to go to the best doctors that could help her get rid of the cancer which was in a very ‘aggressive’ stage. Truly a sad day.
