Aretha Franklin Wants To Be The Next “American Idol” Judge, Plus LeToya Luckett Hooking Up With NBA Baller Kevin Durant?

Even-though Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez exited the show, Aretha Franklin is officially asking to be the next idol judge.

The Queen of Soul music herself sent out an email Saturday saying, "Yes, I am interested as a judge," when asked about a future role in the singing competition. Plus, rumor has it, that former Destiny's Child member LeToya Luckett is dating NBA baller Kevin Durant. More details below....................

The 18-time Grammy winner would come as a replacement judge for the next season after both Tyler and Lopez bowed out last week. Neither Fox, nor Freemantle Media have commented on the legendary singer's interest for the open position.


Now, according to MTO, Durant had been trying to courtside Ms. Luckett for months, but she was allegedly contemplating getting back with her ex, Matt Kemp who's also the ex of pop star Rihanna. 

As always, persistence pays off and now they are allegedly a couple, and reportedly, “very happy together”
