UPDATE: Pastor BLAST Rapper Meek Mill & Drake Over Sinful 'Amen',(Audio) Plus Charlamagne ATTACK Video Hits The Web!

July 11, 2012Gossipwelove

A Philadelphia pastor is puts rapper Meek Mill & Drake on blast over their sinful, 'Amen,' saying it's a sinful song.

The Maybach Music rapper thanks God for his fast-paced lifestyle including being surrounded by beautiful women and making money, while using derrogatory terms such as "ni**ga." Plus, yesterday Charlamgne tha God was attacked outside the Power 105.1 radio studio in New York City moments before doing the show. Now, we have the video that went viral last night. More details below......

North Philly Reverend
Jomo J. Johnson was not too pleased to hear the "blasphemous" lyrics and is calling for fans to "boycott" the rapper's music until he recognizes his wrongdoing.
"I’m a hip-hop fan. But I believe there is a need to really call him out and say enough is enough," Rev. Jomo wrote on his blog.
"He seems to really be using the church as a backdrop and a parallel for some of the sinful things that he does. As a hip-hop fan, I want to encourage every rap fan in Philadelphia who is a believer in Jesus Christ, to boycott Meek Mill until he acknowledges this blatant disrespect."
"And being resident of North Philadelphia and pastor, I revoke Meek’s ‘hood pass’ until this happens." Someone who doesn't agree with Rev. Jomo's boycott pleas, is the director of Africana studies at Lehigh University, James Peterson.
"I would rather spend my time talking with young people," James said. "For them, Meek Mill is speaking the truth. That blurring of the sacred and profane isn’t something he invented. The reason why children love Meek Mill is because he’s real."
"You can’t deny the authentic appeal of the song when the black church does the same thing. Jesus would hang out with Meek Mill. He would accept Meek Mill as a disciple, a person who can communicate with young people. He wouldn’t boycott him."
In case you haven't heard 'Amen', Check it out below:

**UPDATE:**

Today Meek Mill called into Philadelphia radio station Hot 107.9 and argued with Philly Pastor Jomo K. Johnson about the song. Plus word on the street is that Jomo will soon publish a book about Meek Mill and MMG accusing them of blasphemy.

Plus, yesterday we reported that Charlamagne (who's known to be very opinated) was jumped outside the Breakfast club studio in NYC. Now, the video shows him running away after getting jumped by the group of guys, who wasn't aware of the police camera that was pointing straight at them. Check out the video below:

Just because you can't get a drop you going jump someone, how about getting a JOB?? I hope this won't be a trending topic! Also hear Charlamagne spoke on what happened

  4. It mean's having a song that you want someone who's well known in the music industry to give some air time. Or play their song over the radio.
