Today marks the 49th birthday of the late music icon Whitney Houston who passed away in February of this year.

We're remembering the great things about one Whitney which was her most soul-ful voice and her smile which shined so bright and never loosed it's shine.

And In honor of her legacy, daughter Bobbi Kristina and her beau Nick Gordon got matching tattoos in which she tweeted, 
"Tat tat tatted YURP.. ;) now your truly ALWAYS with us mommy (: we love you @nickdgordon always&forever{<3}"

She then added;
"12 am mommy it's your birthday&amp;I am going2celebrate it2thee fullest! Bc YOU deserve it damn it, YOU deserveNothingburtheBEST!"

    That smile and that voice! Happy Birthday, Whitney! You are forever loved and will always be remembered. Rest in paradise! I can only imagine how BK is feeling today, but I love that she continues to CELEBRATE her mother's life!!!
