Rihanna Branded As Being Too "Raunchy" Sexy For Nivea Skincare Ads!

Rihanna is being branded for being to raunchy to be the new face for Nivea Skincare Ads by the new Nivea cosmetics boss Stefan Heidenreich.

The songstress, whose 'California King Bed' song features in the background of one of the Nivea skincare ads has been shunned by the new Nivea Cosmetics executive as he thinks her image doesn't fit with the skincare brands' campaign.

The company was originally thrilled to have the Barbados pop star on board as a spokesperson, but they seemed to have changed their mind in light of……recent events.

"The advert starring Rihanna was a no go," said the 49-year-old tycoon to the German media.

"I do not understand how Nivea can be brought into association with Rihanna."

Propelled into the list of the Forbes magazines top 30 richest celebrities under 30 in July through her contract with the skincare brand, the 'Take Care' singer doesn't seem to fit the image for the new head of the brand.

Heidenreich added: ‘Nivea is a company which stands for trust, family and reliability.’

When Nivea signed up the star last year they said they were ‘very excited’ to have her on board. Nivea board member Markus Pinger said in a press release at the time: ‘Over the past 100 years, Nivea has been an iconic skin-care brand across the world.

‘Rihanna is a music icon and her digital footprint will help us bring our anniversary celebration to consumers wherever they are.

Maybe Rih needs to tone it down?
