Real Reason For Chris Brown Being At The VMAs After Saying He Won't Be Attending!

A few days leading up to the 2012 MTV VMAs, many gossip sites where reporting that Chris Brown, Rihanna and Drake will be performing at the event. But Chris issued a statement through is rep stating that he won't be attending the event and he's not sure if he can be on the same stage with the Bajan songstress.
Now, Hollywood life is reporting that the real reason for Breezy to change his mind at the last minute is because Rihanna sent him a series of text messages saying that she needs to see him and that was all the motivation he needed to attend. More details below.......
The former couple made headlines after locking lips at last week's annual Video Music Awards ceremony in Los Angeles (on September 6) in front of fans, other artists and cameras which had many fans saying that they might be confirming a rekindled romance.
A source close to Chris told HollywoodLife.com,
"He knows Rihanna will be there. She texted him on [Sept. 4] and told him 'do what you want to and get ya a** there -- I want to see you.' He was hyped and was like, 'man f**k that, I'm going.'"
Plus, after the kiss aired, the 'Fortune' singer's girlfriend Karrueche Tran quickly tweeted a series of tweets while being pissed of about the situation. And calling their public display of affection, 'a slap in the face.'
