Amare Stoudemire & Alexis Welch "Ties The Knot" In New York City!

NBA baller Amare Stoudemire and his long time girlfriend/baby mama Alexis Welch has tied the knot on their New York City apartment rooftop yesterday evening before attending the 12.12.12 Sandy Relief Benefit.
The uber private ceremony took place on the rooftop of their apartment in front of their three children — Amar’e Jr., Ar’e and Assata — and a few other family members per Page Six:
“Less than seven other people were there, no Knicks teammates. It was just about them,” a source said. But this won’t be the couple’s only ceremony. “They are planning a big bash next year for friends and family to have a great time,” a source said. The groom wore a Calvin Klein tux, and the bride and kids wore traditional ethnic outfits."The Knick dropped to one knee while on a terrace of the luxury Le Meurice Hotel, and presented Welch with a ring designed by jewelerShayan Afshar.
The newly weds, who have been dating since 2002, had this to say:
“I am so honored to be marrying by best friend,’’ the basketball star told us at the time. “I am so happy she said yes, and now we can continue to build our life together as husband and wife.”
Stoudemire also tweeted: "12.12.12 now has a special and spiritual meaning for us."
Plus, the newly weds got engaged on June 4th of this year in Paris.
