Recently, "American Idol" judge and rapstress, Nicki Minaj sat down with TV personality Ryan Seacrest to talk about the many rumors about her Idol exit,(saying, "that's the million dollar question), her on-going feud with fellow judge Mariah Carey and being motivated by her fans to do the FOX hit show.
During the interview, the "High School" rapstress tells Seacrest she honestly thought Mariah was your friend and has learned that the music industry is "fake." Watch the interview below:

Nicki..girl..stop trying to get interviews off Mariah's name..next year you all will be off American Idol and Mariah can retire without singing another note, because she's the highest selling female artist ever...and you still have a shit attitude and bad rep..stop it..

ReplyDeleteI can see where she is coming from. She didn't have an issue with Mariah (or at least she didn't think she did). They shot a video together, and I guess she thought there was chemistry. Then she hears that Mariah doesn't want another female on the show. I would be hurt if I got a job and find out that one of my co-workers doesn't want to work with me. Mariah started throwing digs at her, then Nicki snapped (the leaked footage we saw this past summer). In MC's defense to the digs, Nicki was late to work on the first day (but that's still isn't a reason to constantly put someone down, even if you don't like them). Mariah is one shady bitch!
ReplyDeleteYou have to remember the interviewers are told to ask questions about Mariah. This is the first time she really revealed her feelings on the whole thing. It's not her it's the press. It's what they want not that I support either side of the whole thing because it's stupid, but everyone knows when a new girl steps in the older generation does become a bit jealous.
ReplyDeleteI think Nicki always does her interviews gracefully even if she is screaming inside. Everyone has to remember her and Mariah both are only human and they both have reasons to be insecure around each other. Nicki is the younger newer thing so of course there is going to be anger or animosity. And you also have to think about what the press shows is very one sided. No one flips out for no reason. They have to be pushed to that. They are only showing Nicki's reactions, not the actions that caused her to be that way.
