Chief Keef Arrested Again After Judge Orders Him "NOT TO DRIVE"... And He Did!
June 17, 2013GWL Staff17 year-old rapper Chief Keef, whose real name is Keith Cozart, was arrested a few minutes ago after pleading guilty to speeding charge in Chicago.
According to police officials, "Keef who has been arrested several times recently had plead guilty this morning to speeding charge and was later schooled by the judge who ordered him 'not to drive.' Once we saw him around the steering wheel, violating the judge's orders, we had to arrest him on spot."
And according to the rapper's Lawyer, Leah Starkman, 'My client was arrested after his hearing on a misdemeanor trespassing charge. And was booked at the Grand Crossing District station on Chicago's South Side."
Here's what the Cook County Circuit Court judge, Earl Hoffenberg had to say to Keef:
"You think you're invincible, and you're certainly not. Violate (conditions of the plea agreement) and you'll find out you're not....I sure hope I don't see you again, because If I do you better be ready to go to jail."The Chicago-Tribune reports that, Under sentencing guidelines for the Class A misdemeanor, Cozart could have been sentenced to a year in prison and fined up to $2,500.
However, the judge did fined him $531, put him on probation for 18 months, ordered him perform 60 hours community service, and to undergo random drug testing. Plus, he must also complete eight hours of traffic school.
Dressed in a black T-shirt, plaid shorts, sneakers, and wearing a gold chain, Cozart made no comment in court. He's currently being processed with no bail or release date set.
