Ne-Yo RESPONDS To Comments About His Split From Monyetta Being A Publicity Stunt + Monyetta Continues To Fly SOLO & Putting Family First!

R&B singer Ne-Yo is now responding to the many reports about his recent split from the mother of his children and fiance Monyetta Shaw being a mere marketing ploy to gather fans attention before the release of his new album.

The "One in a Million" hit-maker, who broke up with Shaw via Instagram while they were down in L.A last weekend and appeared on the 2013 BET Awards show red carpet with singer Vaughn, had this to say:
"..People really think I woke up one morning and just ended my 4 YEAR RELATIONSHIP on social media? Like That day. Really ya'll? Hilarious."

And even though we're still not sure what could have caused the break-up, the ex-couple was last seen together three nights before their emotional split at compound nightclub in Atlanta.


Since their split, Monyetta is apparently living life in the fast lane (flying solo) and has been seen partying the nights away with her girls Toya Wright, "BBW" star Malaysia Pargo and friends--hitting up popular L.A nightspots.


Both Shay and Toya attended the AJ Crimson's new make-up launch, "Beauty is love" at the Andaz hotel along with "Love & Hip Hop: NY" reality star Yandy Smith, actress Lauren London, blogger Necole and more.

And as for Shaw's last night of partying, the media socialite went out with a bang making her final stop at the Greystone Manor in West Hollywood. 


She captioned the pic above saying: "LA nights w/ my girls @styleingrace1 @toyawright @karacsax #girlpower#goodtimes #greystone #gotmygirlswithme."


Plus, Monyetta wasn't just about to leave her kids unattended as she made her way back home to Atlanta just in time for the 4th of July festivities and posted pics of her and the kids on Instagram enjoying a good cookout minus Ne-Yo.



And to end a good holiday celebration evening, Monyetta had this to say:
