Harlem rapper Azealia Banks is going after Lady Gaga on Twitter, accusing Gaga of copying her "Mermaid Style".
Here's what happened... Gaga sent out a tweet last night saying, "I will be providing a list of acceptable attire for #SwineFest throughout the week. Item 1: Seashells. Item 2: Seahorses. 3: Starfish" Pretty much giving a full description of a Mermaid.
Banks quickly replied, "Hmmmmm.. sounds a lot like Azealia Banks mermaid balls. Of COURSE gaga wants to play mermaid again....Pffff."
She concluded her diss with, "Not picking a fight. Just all looks soo familiar...To me. It's just...late"
Gaga has yet to respond to Banks' tweets.
The "212" rapstress is well-known for causing controversies with some of the music industry's top names, including Baauer, A$AP Rocky, Iggy Azalea, Rita Ora and Lil' Kim. And that's just a partial list...
And to be fair, Azealia Banks has been rocking the mermaid look for quite some time now, so do you think she hold the monopoly on the style?
