The wait is finally over as Danity Kane have now confirmed the many reports about them reuniting at this year's MTV Video Music Awards show taking place later on today, Sunday Aug. 24th at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The all girls group announced their official return by releasing a new promo picture posted to their website at midnight on August 25., along with confirming their appearance at the 2013 VMAs.

And after five years of being apart, a few media sites are claiming that they will be using their appearance to share details about a new single they will be releasing soon.

The girls (Shannon Bex, Aundrea Fimbres, Aubrey O'Day and Dawn Richard) also sent out a tweet on their official Twitter page saying:

"Danity Kane is officially BACK! @danityKane #vmas2013 #Rage #DanityKane."
