We're not yet sure if this is true or not, but word on the street is that model/singer Cassie Ventura is among the front-runners to portray deceased music icon Aaliyah in an upcoming biopic (as yet untitled), set for a 2014 release.
The songstress can dance, and has already had some major film on-set experience thanks to her role on 2008's Step Up 2. This also wouldn't be the first time her name would appear associated with the R&B icon as comparisons between the two have been made ever since Cassie stepped on to the music scene with her smash hit "Me & U" back in 2006.
Could all these projects end up being related? Plus, while it appears like she has many great things lined up in the near future, Cassie's long term boyfriend Diddy is finally readying the launch of his big music network REVOLT this Fall!

I dnt like that ideal hell nah ..they need to go with the first girl they cast witch was( lisa tucker) who played malik lil sister on bet the game..she look exactly like aaliyah and she sings better-way better.cassie im sorry thats not going to work i hope this is just a rumor..lol
