Last month, R&B singer and "Love & Hip Hop: NY" reality star K. Michelle debuted her newest album, Rebellious Soul which has exceeded widespread expectations, and helped establish herself as more than just a vibrant reality TV personality.

On Monday, Page31 spoke exclusively with the singer about her insecurities, possibly missing out on award nominations for political reasons, and her friendship with fellow R&B star Elle Varner.
