This is a story I never wanted to report due to the graphic photo but then again I'm all for justice and I hope the cop/s who did this will be brought to justice!

A Pennsylvania mom, Marissa Sargeant, claims her 14-year-old son (photo above) was brutally beaten by Tullytown police officers in a shoplifting bust at a Pennsylvania store.

Via NYDailyNews:
The mother of a 14-year-old boy accused of shoplifting at a Pennsylvania store is convinced cops pummeled the boy after his arrest — and she says pictures of the bloodied child prove he was attacked.
Marissa Sargeant told NBC10 Philadelphia her son was busted with two adult relatives swiping goods at a Walmart in Bucks County on Tuesday night.
But she maintains the Tullytown cops who cuffed her son went too far and beat the teen so bad he was left with a broken nose and two swollen eyes.
“The picture speaks a thousand words,” she told the news station.
Sargeant said she agreed that her son — who she did not identify by name — deserved to be arrested, just not roughed up.
“What he did was wrong,” the mother said. “He was coerced by a 19-year-old. He does know better.”
The county’s district attorney said that the teen, with his hands cuffed behind his back, bolted from the officers as they tried to load him in a police car.
The cops yelled for the teen to stop as he sprinted along Route 13 — where an officer fired a Taser at the teen and hit him in the face with the electrodes, authorities said.
The teen was unable to use his hands to break his fall and landed face-first on the pavement, authorities said.
But Sargeant said her son looks like he suffered more than just a bad spill.
“That doesn’t sound right,” she said. “There’s no way, if he was running from behind, that he would get hit with a Taser in the front of his face.”
She believes the cops attacked her son and threatened him to keep quiet about the attack. The teenager was treated at a local hospital for his injuries.
Police declined to speak of the incident. The district attorney’s office said investigators have reviewed the case and will only launch a probe if asked.
“I just want some justice,” Sargeant said. “I even pray for the police officers, because they need help.”
