Actress Jacqueline Bisset went home with the second Golden Globe award of the night for "Best Supporting Actress" in a series, miniseries, or TV Movie.
Bisset, who says she wasn't prepared because she never expected to win an award, gave probably the most awkward acceptance speech we've ever seen, while accepting her award for her role in "Dancing on the Edge."
"I want to thank the people who have given me joy. Like my mother, who used to say, 'Go to hell and don't come back," said Bisset. The curse came after she said the word "joy."Ellen DeGeneres was quick to tweet a funny reaction via Twitter:
"I helped write Jacqueline Bisset's speech. Did you like it?" she joked.Check out the clip below:
Bisset also reminded the room that in 1969 she had been nominated for “most promising newcomer” at the Golden Globes. Now, with her fifth career nomination, she finally has a win — and an awkward awards-show moment to go with it.
