Hilary Duff and husband Mike Comrie Have Called it Quits!

Former Disney child star Hilary Duff and husband Mike Comrie have called it quits.
The couple, who shared a cute photo of themselves together at a New Year's party on Jan.1 (photo above), released an official statement via TMZ insisting their split was "mutual" but will "remain best friends."
Yesterday, 26-year-old Hilary took to her Twitter account and tweeted to her 4 million fans:
"Mike and I are sitting here,we are so appreciative for all of your kindness & well wishes. Not an easy day but we're getting thru it together."The actress' mom Susan also commented on the couple's split saying her daughter and the 33-year-old former Canadian hockey player make "better friends than a married couple."
She also claims that Duff and Comrie have already decided to share joint custody of their son, Luca, adding, "he's a good father and I will always love him."
Hilary's rep adds that although they're no longer a union, the two are "dedicated to parenting their son together."
Hilary and Mike got married in Santa Barbara in August 2010, and welcomed baby Luca in March 2012.
