List of Musical Artists Who Have Won the Most Grammy Awards

January 25, 2014GWL Staff

We've rounded up a list of artists that have won the most Grammy Awards of all time -- in my Kanye West voice!

There is no music industry honor more prestigious than the Grammy Award, so these award winning artists and industry producers have a lot of bragging rights.

Sir Georg Solti: 31-time Grammy-award winning orchestral and operatic conductor. He is best known for his appearances with opera companies in Munich, Frankfurt and London, and as a long-serving music director of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

Quincy Jones: Despite his ongoing Michael Jackson lawsuit (suing the late singer's estate for unpaid royalties), Jones, who is an American record producer, conductor, arranger, composer, television producer, film producer, instrumentalist, magazine founder, record company executive, humanitarian, and jazz trumpeter, has won himself 27 Grammy Awards.

Alison Kraus: An American bluegrass-country singer-songwriter and musician. She entered the music industry at an early age, winning local contests by the age of ten and recording for the first time at fourteen. Kraus has taken home 27 Grammys throughout her career.

Pierre Boulez: A French composer, conductor, writer, and pianist who have won 26 Grammy Awards.

Vladimir HorowitzThe late pianist and composer was born in Kiev, Ukraine. Horowitz won 25 GRAMMYs in his career and awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award in 1990.

U2: An Irish rock band from Dublin. Formed in 1976, the group consists of Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen, Jr., and has 22 Grammy wins under their belts.

Stevie Wonder: The 63-year-old is an American musician, singer-songwriter, record producer, and multi-instrumentalist with 22 wins.

Kanye West: Despite his constant outbursts and attack on the media including photographers, the Chicago-native and hit rapper has copped himself 21 Grammy wins.
