George Zimmerman vs. DMX Boxing Match; Will This Fight Solve Anything Or Bring Back Treyvon Martin?!

Since the court couldn't prosecute Zimmerman, the public is taking matters into their own hands!
Today, it was confirmed that former neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman has agreed to participate in a boxing match with DMX, which he first initially agreed to fight rapper The Game.
Celebrity boxing promoter Damon Feldman said, 43-year-old DMX was selected out of 15,000 applicants...all of whom wanted a piece of Zimmerman. Feldman continued, "no one wanted to beat Zimmerman's ass more than DMX."
The boxing match will be the usual three rounds, and the date, time and location of the fight will be announced next Wednesday at a news conference.
As previously reported, DMX promised to massacre 30-year-old Zimmerman every chance he gets in the ring, "I am going to beat the living f**k out him … I am breaking every rule in boxing to make sure I f**k him right up." He then said he'd literally piss on George's face."

Okay, I just really sat down and applied some heavy thought on this subject. My question is, will this fight solve anything or bring back slain teen, Trayvon Martin? When did we as a people make it okay to glorify a murderer as a celebrity?
The boxing match is clearly going to be critically detrimental to American advancement socially. Why is DMX instigating the situation by inadvertently supporting Zimmerman by participating in this? Should we (the American people) regardless of skin color view this as acceptable? Thoughts? I would like to hear other peoples opinions.
FYI: As much as we would like to sugarcoat it, this fight won't have a great impact on the law, because the court will continue to let the 'guilty' walk free and the 'not guilty' put behind bars.

ReplyDeleteI'm against that George Zimmerman and DMX fight. It's not going to bring Trayvon back and it not going to make blacks look any better. Instead of us feeding into this shit. Let's do like the white people did to OJ and get this man in jail and stop him from making money! He sees this shit as a joke and mfs feeding into it.
