NeNe Leakes Opens Up About Recent Health Scare & Gives A Lesson On How To Throw Shade [VIDEO]

"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star NeNe Leakes appeared on "The Doctors" to discuss her recent health scare and gave a lesson on how to throw shade on Tuesday.

During the episode -- aired today (February 4) on CBS -- Leakes opened with a lesson in "shade." “Shade is more like a nice nasty,” she told the show's host. “Instead of me being just totally nasty to you, I’ll just throw you a little shade. You could be talking about something I don’t really agree with or even like and I can just look at you and be like, ‘Mmhmm.’”

NeNe then talked about her medical scare, saying she began feeling an intense pain in her body, and had no idea what was wrong. The reality star reveals that it turned out to be a pulmonary embolism, and the condition was so bad that her lung had collapsed.

NeNe added, “Just to hear that though, I was so freaked out. I had never been in the hospital before other than to just have my children.”
