Guess Which BET’s “The Game” Star Secretly Battled With Cancer?

With season 7th heating up of TVs, one of BET's "The Game" star is opening up about secretly battling with stage four cancer, refusing to give up without a fight and how they overcame the disease.

If you guessed Jason Pitt's (onscreen ex-wife Kelly Pitts) then you guessed right. Kelly, who real name is Brittany Daniel, revealed to People's mag that the real reason for her to leave the show was to take care of herself.


Daniel says she was diagnosed with stage IV non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2012 cancer after experiencing symptoms including excruciating back pain. “It happened so suddenly,” she says. Daniel began chemotherapy and lived with her twin sister Cynthia as she recovered.

 The actress kept her ordeal private until realizing her story could help others in similar circumstances, “I want to let people know it is absolutely possible to get through something like this."

 Now that she's healthy and cancer-free, Daniel says “I want people to know they are not alone.”
