From french kissing to beefing? Pop star Miley Cyrus has reportedly slammed Katy Perry on Twitter Thursday, following the "Roar" singer's remarks about their very public kiss at Cyrus' concert in L.A last month.

During an appearance on the Australian talk show, Sunrise, this week, the 29-year-old "Dark Horse" singer explained how the smooch went down.

"I just walked up to her to give her like a friendly girly kiss, you know, as girls do and then she like tried to move her head and go deeper and I pulled away," she said. (Seemingly jokingly), she added, "God knows where that tongue has been. We don't know! That tongue is so infamous!"

Cyrus however took offense to that tongue remark, and decided to go after Perry's ex-boyfriend John Mayer by saying:

"Girl if ur worried abt where tongues have been good thing ur ex boo is ur EX BOO cause we ALL know where THAT been," she wrote. Cyrus also included images of Perry from her Sunrise interview with captions of the quotes she said about Cyrus' tongue.

Perry recently ended her relationship with Mayer, who's famously known for dating Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Aniston, and Taylor Swift.
