Oprah Winfrey has sold her production home at Harpo Studios for almost $32 million to Sterling Bay Cos, a Chicago based real estate developer.
In a recently released statement Harpo said, "We have entered into a purchasing agreement with Sterling Bay for the four-building Harpo Studios campus in Chicago’s West Loop”.
Even though the agreement has already been made, the current employees at Harpo won't have to pack their bags any time soon.
According to a representative for the studio, “The property will be leased back to Harpo for two years.”
The media maven might have sold Harpo Studios, but the show must go on!
