Paula Patton's Independent Night Out At the 2014 Spirit Awards In Santa Monica; Actress Ditches Her Wedding Ring

Last night, newly single Paula Patton was spotted at the 2014 Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica Beach, California., NOT wearing her wedding ring while walking the red carpet.

The 38-year-old actress, who didn't disclosed any information about her recent separation from estrange hubby Robin Thicke with reporters, didn't let her personal life get the best of her on Saturday afternoon as she stunned in a short yellow number and was even seen posing with actor Jeremy Renner backstage.


Earlier this week, Patton posted a cryptic message on Instagram (clearly talking about her marital trouble) saying, "Everything Happens For a Reason. If you love something let it go. If it comes back to you, it’s yours. If it doesn’t, it never was, and it’s not meant to be."



The former high school sweethearts got married in 2005, but have known each other for over 20 years and has a 3-year-old son named, Julian Fuego, together.
