American Express has requested to have an $86k unpaid credit card lawsuit it filed against Jasmine Guy dismissed.
Amex is asking that the lawsuit be dismissed without prejudice, which usually means that an amicable settlement has been reached.
American Expressed originally claimed in their lawsuit that the 49-year-old beauty, who shot to fame playing Whitley Gilbert on The Cosby Show spin-off, A Different World, "has received the monthly [billing] statements without protest, and has not advised American Express that such statements were in error in any respect."
American Express originally filed the lawsuit against Guy in April 2011.
