January 10, 2013UnknownThere has been a lot of controversy concerning Quentin Tarantino's new movie Django Unchained, which has now earned over $106 million and nominated for five Golden Globes, but the iconic director may have gone too far with his most recent project which has ignited severe criticism from a group of black community leaders.
Tarantio has now partnered with NECA and Weinstein Co to produce collective slave figures from the popular film, but Najee Ali, director of Project Islamic Hope, has teamed up with Rev. Al Sharpton’s National Action Network (NAN), a group of Los Angeles black community leaders, to petition for the discontinuance of the toys.

On the wake of the new movie "Django Unchained" Bad Boy music mogul Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs hosted an all-star screening of the movie with Eddie Murphy, Denzel Washington and L.A. Reid just to name a few notable attendees. According to an inside source, the event was held on P.Diddy's yacht in St. Barts.

December 29, 2012UnknownAfter Spike Lee publically announced on his twitter page that he was boycotting Quentin Tarantino's controversial new movie Django Unchained , Donnell Rawlings star of the hit "Dave Chappelle's Show" expressed his disdain for Lee's criticism of the film:
"Spike Lee, I know you been talking a lot of sh*t. You don't like nobody's movies. You don't like Tyler Perry movies. You don't like Quentin movies. I don't even think you like YOUR movies." Donnell added, "If you don't understand, Quentin's movie is a Quentin movie. It's not a real story ... It's only a d*mn movie." (TMZ)
