Heather Locklear Facing Up To 90 Days In Jail

Heather Locklear is facing up to 90 days in jail from her latest driving mishap, GOSSIP is reporting exclusively.
Locklear was arrested, last Saturday after police found a mowed down ‘no parking’ sign in Westlake Village, CA and tracked the damage back to Locklear.

The problem, however, is that the star is still on probation for reckless driving, a misdemeanor she plead no contest to in 2008. She was suspected at the time of driving under the influence of prescription medication.
Now Santa Barbara district attorney Lee Carter, who handled Locklear’s 2008 case tells RadarOnline.com: "I have left a message with the investigating agency. I need to confirm that the person involved was indeed Heather Locklear. Once that determination is made the appropriate action will be taken."

Carter also that  most of the time when someone has been arrested while on probation a probation violation is filed. In Locklear's case, this could result in, "up to 90 days in jail," for the actress, he said.
Locklear formally pled no contest to reckless driving in January 2009. As part of the plea deal, a DUI charge against her was dismissed, and she was placed on three years probation. Locklear had been arrested in September 2008 and charged with driving under the influence of prescription drugs.

Captain Ross Bonfiglio of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department told RadarOnline.com that in the most recent incident Locklear “was given a ticket for a misdemeanor crime. Sometimes we make a physical arrest but it wasn’t warranted for such a low level crime.
“We didn’t take her into physical custody. She still held an answer and has to appear in court to answer to the charges. Because of the nature of crime, it happened 16 hours after the actual crime and it’s a low level misdemeanor we went with the site and release option. She wasn’t handcuffed, thrown in the back of a police car and has no mug shot, but it’s still technically an arrest.”
