The ninth season of Two and a Half Men will begin with a funeral for Sheen's fast-living character, Charlie Harper.
The first episode will include all of Harper's ex-girlfriends returning for his funeral, Deadline.com reported. Another plot twist will be how Harper's survivors, played by Jon Cryerand Angus T. Young, will attempt to sell his Malibu beach house.
It's not yet known how Sheen's replacement,Ashton Kutcher, will be written into the CBS comedy.
Both cast and audience members in attendance for tapings have been asked to sign non-disclosure agreements for the top-secret plot. Certain scenes will be shot separately as well, the website reported.
The show's eighth season was abruptly shut down during Sheen's public fallout with Lorre in February.
The episode will air on CBS September 19; Comedy Central will air its' Charlie Sheen roast that same night.
