According to several reports and tweets, R&B singer Vesta Williams has died. This morning (September 23rd), syndicated personality Tom Joyner spoke with Tony Terry and Sheryl Lee Ralph, two of Vesta friends who confirmed her passing.
Vesta was best known for her hit “Congratulations,” and according to reports, she was found dead yesterday in Los Angeles. It has still not been determined what caused her death at the age of 48.
UPDATE: Vesta is reported to have checked into the hotel with an unidentified man, who is now missing.
