Legendary fashion designer Coco Chanel founded one of the most iconic collections in the world, and now Radar was offered an inside look into the immaculate apartment in Paris that she called home.
Located at 31 Rue Cambon, Gabrielle Chanel's spectacular abode is a stark contrast to the elegantly simple black and white designs that she became famous for around the world.
Decorated in deep reds, rich golds, and Oriental themes, the elaborately decorated apartment is filled with expensive antiques, lush couches and sophisticated chaise longues, reported The Coveteur.

Chanel's love of the Orient is revealed by Chinese screens, antique vases, Hindu sculptures, and symbolic pieces representing luck, prosperity and love.
The fashion queen, who died in 1971 at age 87, also appeared to be an avid reader as walls are filled with bookshelves, and every edition has deep red tones similar to her signature red lipstick and the inside of her famous purses.
During fashion shows that took place at the apartment, Coco would sit on a mirrored, spiral staircase where she could see her audience's reactions but they couldn't see her.
From chandeliers made from healing crystals to camellia flowers to symbolize purity and longevity, Chanel's superstitious nature is apparent throughout her former home.
