Talking to The Well Versed, she explained: “I wasn’t trying to make an event out of it. I guess it became an event because he’s so popular.”
“Tyler didn’t reference me in a song, but he had a couple disparaging remarks to me on Twitter.”
But it seems the remarks Tyler made towards Mc Lyte’s sexuality is what really fuelled the diss track.
Digga added: “When I caught wind of what was going on with MC Lyte, I was like ‘come on man.’ She’s not going to come out swinging. Pick on somebody that’s going to give you a run for your money.”
It doesn’t sound like this beef is ending any time soon!
