Beyonce was recently named People magazine’s Most Beautiful Woman of 2012, but joining her on the list is fellow mommy, actress and wife Paula Patton who did her entire photo shoot without wearing any make-up. She told the magazine that since giving birth two years ago to her son Julian, motherhood has made her much more low maintenance and without all of the primping, her husband Robin Thicke still makes her feel as beautiful as ever. She also names her pick for who she thinks is the most beautiful person she knows and what true beauty really means:

On Who She Thinks is the Most Beautiful Person
“The first person I remember thinking was beautiful was my mom just because she was the first woman I ever looked at and she was gorgeous, not only on the outside but on the inside as well.”

On Motherhood Making Her Low Maintenance
“I wear less makeup and am less fussy. I accept myself more because I have less time to be down about myself! I realized a long time ago, I’m not going to be a size 0. For me, life is about drinking wine and having bread and cheese – just not every day!”

On What True Beauty Really Means
“My definition of beauty has changed quite a bit over time. We all know that we appreciate outer beauty and there’s so much beauty to be appreciated, but I’ve come to realize that really — as corny as it sounds — true beauty comes from within, from a confidence within. A love of life. Whenever I meet those people I always find them to be the most beautiful.”

On Her Husband Making Her Feel Beautiful
“I feel beautiful when I’m with my husband because he gives me so much love and he makes me feel beautiful. As long as I don’t look in a mirror, he always makes me feel beautiful.”

Robin and Paula have been together forever and still talk about each other like newlyweds.
