The-Dream has just released his new album’s lead single entitled “Dope B*tch” featuring Pusha T. The Dream is readying himself for a new album The Love, IV: Diary of a Mad Man to be released later this summer on August 14th.
“I mean no disrespect by this next line…” The-Dream sings as he calls his girl a “Dope B*tch.”
Even though the song is catchy and I’m already singing it in my head nonstop, I’m like–really The-Dream and Pusha T? Why do I have to be a b*tch? I guess it’s not that deep, but it’s almost like the use of the N-word amongst ourselves, then getting upset when someone void of color throws it out–a la Gwyneth Paltrow.
It’s not a fair fight because we throw the word around so much, we’ve become desensitized to it, until of course it’s used by someone that’s notus, then we’re ready to rumble.
