Meet Jay Ellis, & BET's "The Game" New Male Lead Actor!

We recently reported that Lauren London is set to replace Tia Mowry on the next season of 'The Game," and that their in the process of searching for a male lead actor to stand by her side. Well, they've found that one guy, and now DeadlineHollywood has revealed that 31-year-old actor is none other than Jay Ellis. More details below...
Jay also had previous roles on “Hart of Dixie” and “NCIS,” will play Bryce “The Blueprint” Westbrook, a.k.a. Blue, a star running back from the Ivy League who rubs some of the Sabers the wrong way.
Though plot details are under wraps, Jay's character is expected to have a relationship with Lauren's 'former child star' character on the show.
Jay, himself, is a military divo who lived all over the world with his parents while growing up. And also went to Concordia University on a basketball scholarship. So it seems like his real life experiences could help his on-screen character.
