Over weekend, rapper 2 Chainz sat down backstage with DaxTV host Mdotontop before hitting the stage in Montreal. Where he talked about his current life situations, his newborn and wanting the government to legalize weed.

On his current life situation:

"Work Work Work.. It feels like I work for some slave masters or something. Every chance I get, I have to do an interview, a meet and greet, do a verse for somebody, um you know a phoner. But for the most part..it's my lifestyle, music is my job, I enjoy what I do. 

So when I wake up in the morning, I smoke one, I eat some breakfast, and it's time to do something musical. You know, if it's just listening to beats, booking studio time, I like to just stay involved with the music."

On Legalizing weed:

"Yeah Of course I do... I don't do anything else, i don't drink or any other drugs. So to me weed is just a therapeutic drug that calms. You know it just depends on who you are, you know what I mean, but in some places it's illegal. And something they would have to deal with and that's why they should go out and Vote"

Chainz also talked about the best part of his career is having a #1 hit record & song, taking the stage at the VMA's & BET Awards Show, Soul Train etc., this year. Along with having a newborn.
