Recently, Kevin Clash, who is the voice of child puppet star 'Elmo,' was accused of having a sexual relationship with a 16 year-old boy (who is now 23). But new reports are claiming that the accuser is a jealous ex- and wants to ruin the famous actor's reputation. And according to Kevin, the relationship was between two consenting adults.
Now, the accuser named Sheldon Stephens, is said to be an aspiring model trying to get some street credit to add to his non-moving modelling career. Stephens is saying that Clash, 52, messaged him in 2010 talking about sex (which he later apologized for sexting him) and promised to help him with his career & goals in life.
Stephens then claims that he told Clash that he loved him, in which he offered to buy him a ticket to visit New York.
Plus, the model was once arrested for stealing a $250K necklace from a former employer after he was fired from his internship program at a record label.
However, Kevin has left the show to work on the issue but will return, according to Sesame Street producer's.
