Chris also did a quick art work for the event, and this is what he had to say about his passion for painting during a interview with Prestige Magazine:
"I’ve been painting secretly since I was a kid. A lot of people didn’t know that it was my hobby. I focused on doing the bad stuff at first with graffiti and vandalizing. But as you get older, you start studying art books and sketchbooks in the libraries. I started getting better, like maybe three or four years ago.
I met Ron English and Kid Zoom [Ian Strange] and they were just teaching me different techniques for painting. So my art started growing and I started doing it on my own. I finally got people to recognize it and I did a couple of art galleries – one in LA and one in New York – and I sold four out of my seven paintings. You know, I’m new. But my feet are in the water and that’s all it takes. I don’t think I want to conquer painting. It’s just something I love to do."

Here's what Breezy had to say about the Foundation: "It definitely has been a labor of love. That what it's all about for me – art and love," said Brown. "Art influences every aspect of my life completely. It helps me to be myself. Focusing on positivity and love helps you have respect for yourself and others. It's what I strive for, so I hope this foundation and the website encourages everyone to express themselves creatively and be who they want to be."
Brown created Symphonic Love's website to showcase his favorite nonprofits and programs, and to serve as a creative and personal resource for his fans.
According to the Herold online, the website enable fans to upload their artwork, listen to music, watch videos, get involved and get help to live more creative and loving lives. Brown explains, "The site has resources where you can immediately get inspired and get support for all kinds of difficulties, and you can use your creativity to take you to a different world. That's what I've been doing since I was a kid, and I know kids need that same kind of encouragement."
Brown's $200,000+ in grants include:
