Last night was the 2012 American Music Awards held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles with celebs like Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, PSY, Mc Hammer, Stevie Wonder, Usher Raymond, Swizz Beatz, David Guetta and more in attendance.

1. Justin Bieber
Justin won the first award of the night amid the tumult surrounding his relationship drama with Selena Gomez. Upon accepting the award, he had this to say, "This is for the haters."
Taylor called it "unreal" to receive her award, and told her fans, "I'm really, really happy right now and that's all because of you."
Nicki beat out J. Cole and Drake to win the award for favorite Rap/Hip-hop album for her work on Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.
Linkin Park's new collaboration with Rick Rubin, "Living Things," paid off with a big win at the American Music Awards where the band won over fellow nominees Goye and the Black Keys.
Usher was nominated for favorite artist in both the "Soul/R&B" category, and the "Pop/Rock" category. He won the former after losing the latter to his pal Justin Bieber.
Luke was all smiles when he took home the award for Favorite Male Country Artist.
Carly Rae's massive hit, "Call Me Maybe" lead to her big win in a talent-packed field for New Artist. Carly got a scream of approval when she thanked Justin Bieber during her acceptance speech, and added, "To the fans, I am floored, thank you! Wow."
Antebellum was thrilled with their AMA win, but they ducked out of the show early, tweeting half an hour before its end, "Already out celebrating the big win tonight!! Thanks to our wonderful fans!!!"
While he wasn't onhand to accept his award, David beat out fellow phenoms Calvin Harris and Skrillex for the EDM award.
Justin was kiss attacked by comedian Jenny McCarthy upon winning his second award of the night for his hit album Believe.
Nicki used the occasion of her second win of the night to announce the premiere of her video for "Freedom" on Monday night. She also thanked her fans, aka her "Barbz & Kens."
Carrie won the award for best country album for Blown Away.
