R&B singer NeYo has teamed up with Will.i.Am, The Goo Goo Dolls, Johny Rzeznik, Herbie Hancock, Delta Rae, and Natasha Bedingfield to release a pro-Barack Obama anthem for the upcoming 2012 election.
The singer/music producer/songwriter sat down with Rollingout TV to get an update about the new song.
Neyo also opens the song with an excerpt from a speech by President Obama saying, "I have never been more hopeful about America. Not because I think I have all the answers. Not because I'm naive about the magnitude of our challenges. I'm hopeful because of you."
He then sings:
"You can't give up on hope, Each other's hand we hold, we're on a long hard road. But we travel it together. We pull each other up, we fill each other's cup. So we all have enough. We're all in this together. Whoa, we're halfway there, so stand up, if you care."
