Recently Tami Roman, who was spotted filming on the streets in New York City, revealed that there will be three new cast-mates appearing on "Basketball Wives: Miami" season 5 in January while saying there will be less drama and more positivity this season.

Here's what she had to say:

People are really going to be surprised at the approach we’re going to take this season because it’s more family oriented, not as much drama.What you’ve seen in past seasons was real, but that’s not how our lives are 98% of the time. We’re excited to show you more than just the drama. 

I’m a busy mom and I have a new show coming out and I’m focused on that. I’m really a loving person and you’ll see that on season five.

And with Jennifer Williams, Royce Reed and Kesha Nichols axed from Season 5-- Brandi Garnett (wife of Kevin Garnett), Tasha Marbury (wife of Stephon Marbury) and Hope Alexa (Dwight Howard’s baby’s mother) will be their replacements for the upcoming season. Meet the wives below:


Tasha and Stephon Marbury, who have been married since 2002, where approached by producers for two main reasons: she’s actually a basketball wife and secondly, she's already friends with some of the other “wives.”

Plus, Tasha was previously asked to do season 1 of “BB Wives”, except Stephon nixed the idea — but now he lives in China part time playing for the Beijing Ducks … and changed his tune.



And Dwight's second baby mama Hope Alexa, who is another one of his many baby mama's, including reality tv star Royce and Tiffany Render.
