R&B singer Brandy is on the latest issue of Jet Magazine December 2012 issue. Where the mag share secrets of how the songstress was was able to put her past behind her, moving forward and making a comeback.

Here's what she told the mag:

“I’ve never been a follower in my journey of music,” says the former pop princess who won our hearts with hits such as “I Wanna Be Down” and “The Boy is Mine.” “I’m always interested in challenges and taking risks.”

And that strategy is clearly paying off in the form of rebounding recording success and another year of her breakout role on BET’s hit sitcom, The Game.
