Just a few days ago, fans learned that "Real Housewives of Atlanta" newbie Kenya Moore allegedly paid her beau thang Walter Jackson to play her on-screen man because she needed a boyfriend in-order to be on the Bravo hit show. Which explains the couple's desperation (Kenya) and awkwardness (Walter) on the show.

Despite her upcoming appearance on the Wendy Williams show (Tomorrow), Kenya has released an official statement through TooFab.com, where she denies paying Walter and is truly embarrassed by it. Here's what she had to say:

"The truth is and has always been that I want to be in a loving, honest, long-term relationship with someone who genuinely loves me for me — Walter’s recent statements are completely false. 

I am embarrassed that I allowed a deceitful and hateful person in my life. He says he ‘did it for fame. 

I’ve been humiliated enough by appearing desperate for a man to marry me who now admits he had his own agenda. I urge viewers to stay tuned because the truth will come to light. 

I am moving on from this situation and hope he can as well with respect and dignity going forward. I have heard the fans and my friends loud and clear … I can do better than Walter, and I will.”

The news comes in light after a few photos surfaced online with Walter and an aspiring singer getting cozy at a Basketball game in Atlanta. Which had many fans speculating on whether their on-screen romance was fake or real.
